It’s been a road filled with ups, downs and sometimes it’s even gone totally off road, more like dirt track, no compass wilderness style yet we’ve come out the other side and we are pleased, a bit nervous and ultimately very excited to be releasing One Way Mirror to you.
As I type this I’ve got a plethora of other things going on in the back of my mind, album artwork, single artwork, video shoot etc. all whirling around, such is the joy of releasing an album ourselves.
We’re so looking forward to playing this for you and we hope that you’ll have a connection to the tracks that will hopefully find a place in your days and in your nights.
To give you a brief description of what it’s about, the album is a tale of two young lovers who steal a kiss on a starry night and then run away to seek their fortune in the big bad city. Will who and what they encounter on their adventure tear them apart???
The tracks on the album are stories from their adventure, the bursting excitement of new love to the wide eyed encounters under a city sky to the depraved underworld of urban life.
The lead single from One Way Mirror is Midnight Missing. We’re working with a great young director called Vincent Gallagher who’s going to help us create our dark and twisted tale. More details on that to follow. As soon as it’s done we’ll have it up on the site as well as gigging info and free downloads so keep an eye!
